Trying Not to Get Caught-A Valdangelo Fic

Leo Valdez and Nico di Angelo…
Who woulda thunk it, right?

Something about the fiery Hispanic jokester made Nico smile.
And there was just something about the super-moody Death Breath made Leo forget about every girl who'd ever rejected him.
Of course, the kissing was good enough for either of them to stay committed.
Not that either of them would admit to that.

Speaking of kissing, the two were doing such in Nico's cabin, hidden from their friends.
Just like their relationship.
The two had gone missing often lately, and for some reason, none of their friends got curious.
It was almost TOO perfect…

Meanwhile…

Percy, Annabeth, Piper, Jason, Hazel and Frank were sitting around, hanging out and just having a good time, when something occurred to Frank.
"Where's Valdez?" he asked.
"Did we leave him in Malta?" Percy smirked, joking. "Or maybe Split?"
Annabeth rolled her eyes and smiled up at her boyfriend, "I haven't seen Repair Boy in two days…" she frowned.
Hazel shrugged, frowning as well, "I haven't seen him in three…"
Piper rolled her eyes, "He's probably locked himself in Bunker 9 again…" Jason nodded in agreement.
"Speaking of missing people, where's Nico?" Hazel asked.
Percy made a pfft noise and rolled his eyes, "He's always disappearing."
"But isn't it weird how we haven't seen either Nico or Leo in a few days?" Piper asked, thinking.
Annabeth's eyes widened, "Hazel, when was the last time you went in the Hades cabin?" she was sitting bolt upright now, her Athenian brain trying to process and figure out exactly what was going on.
Hazel shrugged, "A few weeks? I mostly head back to Camp Jupiter to sleep, why?"
Jason's eyes widened, "Holy Hera! I know where Annabeth is going with this…"
Percy looked really, really, confused now, "What are you all talking about?"
Frank looked just as confused as Percy, "What are you guys even talking about?" The two confused boys shared their confused looks.
Annabeth rolled her startling grey eyes and stood, the others doing the same, even the confused Chinese Canadian and Seaweed Brain.
Hazel lead them off to the Hades cabin, she sloooowlyyyy opened the door, and gasped.

Leo looked up and blushed, pulling away from the son of Hades, who immediately turned to see what Leo was so embarrassed about. His jaw dropped slightly, his eyes widened, and he was stumbling for his words.
Leo waved, "Oh hey guys!"
Hazel was fanning herself with her hands, "What did I just walk in to?"
Percy and Frank were staring wide-eyed, confused more than ever.
Nico glared at them, "What're you all staring at?"
Jason was the only one who wasn't completely, for lack of a better word, shocked. In fact, the blond Superman was smiling at Nico. "Congrats, Nico." he clapped him on the back. Nico and Leo were exchanging looks and glares, having a silent conversation. The rest of the Argo II crew watched its back-and-forth like a ping-pong match. Annabeth included.
After about three minutes, Leo shook his head at Nico and yelled, "I LOVE NICO DI ANGELO, OKAY?!"
Nico's eyes widened when his boyfriend yelled that, then smirking he, too, yelled, "AND I LOVE LEO VALDEZ!"
Let's just say that Piper and Hazel just about fainted. Percy didn't almost faint, men didn't faint. Though, he did get suddenly very tired, and collapsed into Frank's arms, since he was closest.
Leo and Nico exchanged another smirk, before turning to their friends and waggling their brows at them.
Piper, Hazel, Frank, Annabeth, Jason and Percy could only stand in sheer shock as the pair began to make-out in front of them.

After dinner that night…

"I still can't believe I just saw all that…" Percy said, rubbing his eyes for the fiftieth time, trying to rid his brain of the shocking image.
Annabeth shook her head, "I can't believe I didn't see it coming."
Frank stared at nothing, "I can't believe Percy fainted…"
"I did not faint!" Percy argued.
"Yes, you did!" chimed the others.
The happy couple from before joined their circle then.
"Hey guys!" Leo said cheerily, sitting between Nico and Frank.
Nico sat next to Piper and cleared his throat awkwardly.
"Did you enjoy the show?" Leo asked, waggling his brows again.
His friends all stared at him, except Nico. Then, they opened fire and pelted the happy couple with a bag of marshmallows.
Nico and Leo ran off towards the lake, cackling maniacally as their friends continued to throw marshmallows at them. The two then jumped in, and though it restrained his fire power, Leo was glad to be rid of them for a bit. The two swam off, only circling back to the docks when their friends had gone to their own cabins, or in the case of Hazel and Frank, their own camps.
Nico smirked at the Boy on Fire, "Stay in mine tonight?"
Leo made pshhh noise, "Or we could stay in Bunker 9."
The two shared a serious look before bursting in to laughter, when Leo had stopped he replied, "Of course your's, like we could get away with it in my cabin."
And with that, the boyfriends went back to Nico's cabin.
Where no one could ruin their tranquility.
